Happy Mother's Day From The UK

Yes, Mother's Day is celebrated in April here in the UK, presumably first Sunday of April? While in Malaysia, it's always celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of May.


Princess made these for me for Mother's Day at her nursery............

A cupcake, a card and a pot of bean sprout! :)

Her teachers said she planted this by herself

And she wrote, 'Mummy' and signed her name with many kisses

She made this cupcake during cooking lesson. The pink icing has strawberry flavor. :) And it tasted really yummy, don't be fooled by its appearance. ;)

So, when is Mother's Day celebrated in your country?

Well, whenever it is celebrated, I think everyday should be celebrated as Mother's Day, for the things that Mummies do for their children everyday - cooking for them and feeding them, bathing them, sending them to school, teaching them at home, etc etc etc......all the sacrifices that a Mummy would make for their children, including giving up her dream career, like Yours Truly. ;)
And the list goes on...........

Here's to wishing all mothers HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY (and I shall be back in May with similar greetings). :D
